Storytime #19: The 1996 Summer Olympics: Opening or Closing Ceremony

One of my favorite memories before my teenage years was when my cousin and I, along with a group of individuals; participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics opening or closing ceremony (both my cousin and I were 10 years old at the time, but I don’t remember which ceremony.) It was nice memories of preparing before the big event. My favorite part of it was during the ceremony of the 1996 Summer Olympics, we ran a quarter of way around in the stadium to prepare for the next placement before the ceremony was finished. Also my favorite movement of the ceremony was when the torch relay was passed to boxing legend, Muhammad Ali to lit the Olympic cauldron. The bad thing was even though we didn’t get to see what we did or see the 1996 Summer Olympics on T.V. afterwards; we were part of history there.

Great news! Ghost Hunters is returning for another season. I’m excited to see it again. The T.V. Show reminds me of the time back a few years in Lithonia, Georgia, United States before I moved with my parents to Powder Springs, Georgia, United States in 2009. When I witness a ghost/spirit in our three-story house, I felt little scared of it at first, but didn’t think of it. What happened before 2009, my mother witnessed a ghost/spirit in our house before me. I guess the location when our house was build, once had people a century before us. I remember when I witnessed it too one night, when I was going to the kitchen cross from the living room to get something. As I was returning to living room to watch T.V., I saw a ghost/spirit in the dinner room, just sit in a chair and waving at me. But like I mentioned before; at first, I was a little scared of it because I never seen one before, I didn’t think of it as I went back to the living room. This ghost/spirit I saw was a woman, I believe to be from somewhere around the 1800s to early 1900s. Since that day, I respect grace sites of those who lived before us.
