Storytime #17: Traveling on the Carnival Cruise Ship - Horizon (fourth time.)

Day 1 (06/15/2019) - My parents and I leave home to the airport, from there, it took 1 hour 1/2 from Atlanta, GA., U.S. to Fort Lauderdale, FL., U.S. Next, we took a bus from Fort Lauderdale, FL., U.S. to Maimi, FL., U.S.; which took 25 - 35mins. Fun day on Cruise ship with great foods and entertainment. (I was to a show: Clue (based on a classic board game); and the performances were little weird, but a mystery show.

Day 2 (06/16/2019) - Fun Day at ship. We went to a Japanese restaurant and it was nice with unique foods.

Day 3 (06/17/2019) - First stop: Grand Turk. My parents went to a special island in Grand Turk. They almost miss the bus to get there, but they enjoy it (at less I think.)

Day 4 (06/18/2019) - Second stop: La Romana. This island arrival didn’t have many things to do outside the ship, but I did catch a movie on the ship; later that day. Men In Black: International.

Day 5 (06/19/2019) - Third stop: Curaçao. We explore the island a little bit and it was interesting. Afterwards when we returned to the ship, we went to an Italian restaurant. For my parents’ birthdays and anniversary (the day before,) the waitresses celebrate them with a special cheese cake with a candle light, that evening.

Day 6 (06/20/2019) - Fourth stop: Aruba. I finally got a chance to do something that’s close to scuba diving and never done before, SeaTurk. It was really amazing, just like navy helmets; but lighter feel. The ocean was little cold, but I was ready as the guide leader put on the helmet over my head. As walk down the rail explore the ocean creatures, I felt a little cold, but calm. As the group and I returned to the surface, it was the most memorable experience I will never forget. As I returned to the ship, I mentioned the group I was with my parents.

Day 7 (06/21/2019) - Fun day at ship. A young couple in my group who took SeaTurk, underwater adventure; was at the morning breakfast when we met them. I introduced my parents to them and they gave me there e-mail address to contact them. I was happy because they have a USB drive that had all of my underwater adventure with them. (I didn’t have my wallet with me to get a locker or a USB drive for my belongings on our underwater adventure.) Later that evening, I’m went to the LGBT Mixer. (I hope I meet a couple of folks like me, because I missed two chances on the first two days on the ship.) But I was little disappointed, I waited 15min. for someone to be LGBT at the bar. I felt uncomfortable too; the menus at the bar had many combinations of ingredients for a drink and I’m a non-alcoholic person. 

Day 8 (06/22/2019) - Fun day at ship. My parents went to a Lip Sync Battle show in the main lobby yesterday and invited me to come see the finale battle it out today. (I hope it’s a good one.) 

Day 9 (06/23/2019) - Arrived at Miami, FL., U.S. We take bus back to the airport in Fort Lauderdale, FL., U.S. Then from there with a little delay, we flew to another airport in Atlanta, GA., U.S. and finally heading home in Powder Springs, GA., U.S.

We have a great time on our eight day - cruise.
